Come via the King Harry Ferry if you can -
it's much the more romantic way to arrive at Trevilla House.
Trevilla House, bought by Peter and Jinty in 1975, is great family home,
in a stunning position, and with wonderful views over the Fal Estuary,
the sea and the peninsula wrap round you.
It is ideally placed for visits to
the Eden Project, the Falmouth Maritime Museum,
and many Cornish Gardens - Glendurgan, Trebah, Trevarno, and
Trelissick Gardens which was owned by Peter's grandparents,
Ida and her husband, Ronald Copeland of Copeland/Spode China, who developed
the gardens before giving it to the National Trust.
There is also the woodland walk along the Estuary, or you can take
the King Harry Ferry to explore the Roseland Peninsula.
The Bedroom, is modest and unfrilly -
there are twin antique basketwork beds with french polished frames -
you just pull the curtains back in the morning and see that stunning sea view!
There is a private bathroom next door.
In addition, you have a small private sitting room which gets the morning sun and
is opposite your bedroom
where you can sit and relax, have a cup of tea, watch the television.
Breakfast is served in the South Facing Conservatory and overlooking the
fabulous sea view.
